SoftFIRE launched its First Open Call for Experimenters interested in SDN and NFV technologies for experimenting with programmability, security, and interoperability aspects on the federated testbed in order to boost the developments of a 5th Generation of Mobile Networks.

Experimenters interested in submitting a proposal can choose between two objectives:

• enhancing the federated testbed development or testing new functionalities
• producing and validating new services, systems and applications that can benefit from such distributed SDN/NFV infrastructure
